A lifted fruit nose of blueberry and raspberry with concentrated blackcurrant with toasty mocha characters from the French oak.
The palate again shows concentrated blackcurrant fruit plus forest berries/black forest cake, dusty vanillin oak notes and firm structural tannins that will aid extended cellaring.

A blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Malbec and 4% Petit Verdot; open-fermented, basket-pressed and matured in French oak (35% new) for 18 months. It still retains excellent colour, and a complex, medium – to full-bodied palate with good balance and length to its blackcurrant and mulberry fruit, the tannins ripe and soft.
