2023 Pinot Noir
The 2023 Vintage
2023 proved an extended yet very rewarding vintage in the Margaret River Wine Region. Optimal, dry weather conditions paired with the absence of any significant climatic challenges or disease pressure set the scene for a dependable growing season, ideal for gentle, consistent ripening across all varieties
Our Pinot Noir was hand harvested on the 28th February ay 12.4 Baume. Alc 13%
The Winemaking
The fruit was hand-plunged in small batch open-top fermenters with 10% whole bunch, with a total of eleven days on skins to achieve a brightly fruited wine with good flesh. Before spending eight months in used French oak barriques. Unfined – Vegan
Tasting Notes
- Lifted aromatics of dark cherry and raspberry with subtle wild herbs.
- Gentle smoky oak sits quietly in the background, adding savoury complexity and hints of green olives without overshadowing the fruit.
- A refined, elegant finish lingers with fresh acidity and subtle spice.
