2024 Cabernet Franc
2024 Vintage
The 2024 vintage was warm and dry, the driest for Victory Point since we began.
This resulted in slightly lower yields with intensely flavoured fruit and excellent flavour development.
The cabernet franc was picked on the 24th February and is already developing into a superb wine.
Tasting Notes
Bright and vivid colour. Pretty and engaging floral aromas with juicy red fruits; cherry and raspberry balanced with the savoury characters, saline, a hint of sage.
The wine has a rounded and generous palate, shows off cherry blossom and Davidson plum, framed with a fine tannin but soft and juicy, this very drinkable Cab Franc is made to be enjoyed as a young wine.
