Brownlow medalist, Nathan Fyfe, joined one of OUR fans, WAFL player Jay Van Berlo, at a recent Victory Point Wines dinner. The boys loved all of the wines and were keen to show that “real men aren’t afraid to drink pink”

VICTORY POINT 2016 ROSÉ

Since I last wrote I have been inundated with calls about when we will release our 2016 vintage Rosé. We had planned a surprise for the release but unfortunately delays have occurred, and the surprise has still not reached our shores.

The Victory Point 2016 Rosé is now available – on line and at our retail outlets.

The surprise will get here and hopefully my next missive will share the news.

This wine is again a delicious blend of malbec, pinot noir and cabernet franc grapes showing red berry flavours with a savoury finish, the perfect accompaniment to summer dining. Local restaurants have picked up this wine and it is an unctious match to the delicious food at one of our favourites, Habitué in North Fremantle. The garden setting is an idyllic retreat, created by partners Therese O’Toole and Gary Bennett(chef).

The menu of shared plates is perfect for summer dining. Lots of delicious, interesting vegetarian dishes, such as Zucchini / peas, mint, sugar snaps, buffalo cheese or Heirloom Carrots / faro, salsa picado, goats curd, to accompany juicy chargrilled protein – if desired.

Rosé is the perfect wine/food match. The weight of the wine balances with these multi layered dishes. The light berry flavours enhance the subtle vegetable dishes, while the fruit flavours of the malbec grape shine through and work with the smokey bbq meats.

Tucked away in North Fremantle – Habitué restaurant is the place to enjoy our wines.
