Victory Point Wines medal count at 2014 International Wine Challenge

Victory Point Wines, has won Gold in the 2014 International Wine Challenge, which was announced in London last week.

Medals were awarded to each of their wines -

  • Victory Point 2010
    Chardonnay - Gold;
  • Victory Point 2008
    Cabernet Sauvignon – Silver
  • Victory Point 2011
    “The Mallee Root” – Bronze

Victory Point 2010 Chardonnay was one of only two Australian white wines to win Gold, and the medal adds to the “Highly Recommended” classification awarded by London based, Decanter magazine earlier this year. This International recognition is supported by Australian wine guru, James Halliday, who has rated the last four vintages of Victory Point Chardonnay 96 points, putting it amongst the top chardonnay wines in the country.

We are thrilled to receive this International recognition for our wines.

The International Wine Challenge has been held for more than thirty years and employs expert judges from all over the world, many of whom are Masters of Wine. This ensures only the most experienced and respected palates judge the wine at the IWC.

We would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy times for 2014…
